Peter Heinz is Vice President, General Counsel, & Secretary for Univar.

Peter Heinz joined Univar in 2002 as Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary. He has over thirty years of experience as a senior corporate officer in the chemical industry with wide-ranging responsibilities in corporate law, management and governance. Prior to joining Univar, he was General Counsel and Secretary for BetzDearborn.

Peter manages the legal, risk management and US property functions at Univar. His responsibilities include advising the Board of Directors, corporate governance, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, litigation and global trademarks. He serves as a focal point for communication with Univar’s Board of Directors and management team.

Peter graduated with a BA from Franklin & Marshall College, earned a JD from the University of Chicago School of Law, and an LLM from Temple University School of Law.
