Univar Contributes to Relief Efforts in Haiti


REDMOND, Wash. – January 26, 2010 – Univar, a leading global chemical distributor, has donated to The Salvation Army specifically for the earthquake victims in Haiti.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Haiti and those helping to relieve the suffering of this disaster,” said John Zillmer, Univar president and chief executive officer. “The need for aid will not be going away anytime soon.”

Univar employees in Pompano Beach, Florida donated a pallet of water, baby diapers, baby food, and baby wipes to Food for the Poor in Miami, one of the largest organizations distributing food and water in Haiti today.
